A new addition to the family.

Meet Chester.

We’ve just adopted him from Canberra Pooch Rescue.  He is about five years old, and is probably the best dog we’ve ever owned.  It makes sense for us to adopt an adult dog, because someone else has dealt with all the puppy-hood stuff already, and I just don’t have the time for that!  We don’t really know what breed he is, but we’ve narrowed it down to a Tibetan spaniel (with a bit of something else) or a fat long hair Chihuahua.  He is house trained, doesn’t bark unnecessarily and is very affectionate. Just what our autie kids need in a dog.  A very welcome addition to the family.  🙂  You’ll probably see lot’s more of Chester in posts to come.

I have a Tibetan Spaniel cross long hair chihuahua that looks very much like this so I think you are on the right track with your assumption of parentage, very cute.

      • He gets hot when it’s freezing, so a Tibetan spaniel could be right 🙂
PS Thanks for your support of Kel & Lucys City2Surf run, we really appreciate it!
